Handy for changing scroll wheel speed, and shifting button use (unless you can do what Velocio suggests, but then IT may have locked that down also). I can't imagine IT would have a problem with the Logitech sw.

IT would at my work. Any software needs a legal and an InfoSec review which takes a lot of effort so doesn't happen for drivers for user chosen hardware.

Ouch. My hope would be something as common as logitech might have some kind of precedence so they already gone through that bollocks.
