Handy for changing scroll wheel speed, and shifting button use (unless you can do what Velocio suggests, but then IT may have locked that down also). I can't imagine IT would have a problem with the Logitech sw.

No. Partly I couldn't be bothered to ask IT (who will likely say no) and partly because if I want to customise things I'll use this https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/xmousebuttoncontrol.htm which is far more powerful and runs as a portable version.

Does anyone use the software with their MX Master*? What does it do?
Basically is it worth me bothering IT support with a request to install it?
