The crowds on these climbs cause me so much anxiety. I know it's 'tradition' or whatever but just give them some bloody room. I think it was Vingegaard who had to basically shove someone away before he got his flag pole through his spokes....

Hm I do hope the crowds are always there, not like too much disturbing like you say, but no fences or stupid rules to keep people away, it should be like that, in the end it’s what I would show non-cycling people how great road cycling is.

Oh don't get me wrong, I know it's all part of the atmosphere. But I can't believe how close they seem to be at times. There shouldn't ever be a need for the riders to have to interact with them while they're doing their job.
