Not trade anymore, but I should get a decent discount and il be putting it on cyclescheme so need to go through a shop really as il need build kits and million wheels/tyres.
That's a good price though.

I think @gofasterstipes has one of these and is happy with it
-
• #9304
@leggy_blonde has two of those!

Previous version (not sure what the difference is) but yep. 2x alloy bikes better in a race situation than one bling bike for the same money

I built one up for my partner with straight bars, it seems to be pretty decent from what I can tell without being able to ride it. With a bit of gentle filing I was able to make it di2 compatible . It's got plenty of clearance too

I'm going to be upping sticks and heading back to the north west in the next couple of months. Does anyone race in the NW League?
-
• #9308
I post about thinking about it every year (:
@fizzy.bleach does/did but I don't think he comes around the forum anymore -

Internal di2 for front derailleur too ?
-
• #9311
Nope , it's set up 1x
I can have a look to see if there are any pre drilled holes in the BB that would be suitable if you it helps?

Do you know if there are there any groups training around the Bolton area?
-
• #9313

Horwich CC have a good contingent involved in the league... I know a few of them but only to say Hi at events
-
• #9315
If you have the older one. It had an alloy steerer. New one is full carbon

It was recommended to me by @leggy_blonde so he's the OG pusher.
I like mine, it's a cheap frame and it shows in a few details, but none that matters, I've been enjoying it so far.
Spotted some minor paint bubbling under the TT recently, nothing concerning albeit premature.. Customer service has been close to non existent, but for £400 I might buy a second one myself!

Thanks, I'll give them a shout.
I also spotted some Saturday morning training sessions in Preston with red rose olympic which I'll look into
I'll be in Bristol CX kit so if you see me, say hello

Asking here rather than AQA as I'm hoping there is some good canti brake knowledge...
I want to replace my tektro oryx cantis. Are the CR710 or CR720's better or should I go to another brand? Ease of maintenance/set up is as important as stopping power.

Shimano CX50 / CX70 or if you have the dosh Avid Ultimate Shorty are amazing
-
• #9322
Thanks.

• #9323
I'm a fan of the CR720s for the money. Easy to adjust, use standard pads and work.
-
• #9324
Same. Love 'em. Used 'em a lot, incl. in cross races. Better (and miles easier to set up) than the expensive TRP ones I had.

How do the CR710s compare to the 720s? Purely on an astetic level I prefer the 710's.
Looked at the Avid Shortys...nice but too pricey for me :/
not bad.. what does @giofox have to say about this frame ? ( edit : previous page )
