you want the following parts to build the ideal proletariat ride:
hope hubs to something tubeless wheels (yes you do want tubeless, it's not difficult)
sram 10spd shifter
sram gx 10spd rear derailleur
sunrace 10spd 42t cassette
brakes by shimano or hope (any model so long as no resin pads)
shimano ht2 cranks (m980 xtrs are great n cheap)
any old stem/post/saddle
sqlab alu swept back bars
vittoria barzo or mezcal tires
revelate framebag
