I'm a Velfac fan boy, but their system means one leaf has to be fixed. Didn't actually know you could spec oak.

On a dif note, how daft an idea is it to have the roof on an outrigger with a 2mx2m skylight? It’s going to be an office not a bedroom so can’t see why not?

Being boiled alive while working? I'd have thought there are building regs to get around, U values etc. IIRC there's a ratio of glazing to solid that can't be exceeded, unless you call it a conservatory.
