Decided not to go the frame bag route for this bike, although will be getting one for the gravel bike when it eventually arrives.
I reckon a Trucker is more suited to a rack / seat pack / saddle bag (or something like the Backloaded, cheers Zebra).
Bar bag isn’t going to work with the light at the crown, and I’ve concluded that they are only good for light stuff like a rolled up jacket or sleeping bag etc. otherwise there is too much contact with the hoses / cable.
Thanks Greytyke! Don’t know the weight, will try and get it somehow on my floor scales out of curiosity. The Trucker frame on its own doesn’t feel as heavy as might be expected, even in a size 58. Fork is heavy though. I hoik it up and down stairs quite a lot and the weight feels roughly similar to my Brompton.
Lovely to ride over shit surfaces as it is but can’t help thinking it would be even nicer tubeless some day.
