The latest evolution of my Disc Trucker from 2012 ish, bought as a F&F from Brixton Cycles.
GRX 1x11 (very happy with the gearing, shifting and general simplicity with that).
SON28 / Edelux.
Salsa Cowbell 3, Thomson stem, CK BB and headset carried over from previous set-up.
Through-axle fork from the current model.
I have 38 GravelKings on it - not sure about them now as I have read mixed reports since buying them, but so far so good.
Still pondering the luggage options.
I don’t want a rear rack this time. And I’d prefer to keep the front light where it is, which excludes a porteur style front rack and most bar bags.
I have a set of Salsa Down Under low riders, which I can put to use if I ever want to use panniers.
But for smaller, commute type loads I’m thinking about a Carradice Super C SQR - but would it clear that rear light? Would prefer something from this century though - suggestions appreciated!
