They have a bit of enforcement for people growing it on public land. They're doing lots of ecological damage.....pollution with banned weedkillers, stealing so much water that rivers are drying up, you name it. The people who own the plants and equipment don't even go there, they just hire people with no green card and pay them slave wages.

Yeah since weed went legal in CA, there is no enforcement, even the Feds seem to have given up. It's seriously wild west, if swapping horses for lifted diesel pickups. Quite the scene.
