Agreed, but he is a better story and Fabio has many tours in him still. I bet they've done the math but Cav winning one more stage > Fab winning them all IMO

It’s been obvious since before the season started that Jakobsen would be the number 1 sprinter and would go to the Tour. Why is everyone acting so surprised?
If Cavendish had dominated the sprints at the Giro then he might’ve stood a chance, but he didn’t.
