  • P LINE WHEEL NUT CORRECTIVE ACTION Posted on 17th May 2022: Brompton P Line product correction - Official programme to replace the wheel nut.

    https://www.brompton.com/p-line-wheel-nut-update?fbclid=IwAR15FQXMVdgd94qejZ7qv7f82HLsQV6w3E-yRq13dhEE802Tf45Vn_Otxxc

  • Month 3 - Seatpost rotating slightly - tighten clamp nut a little or should I take it in for a sleeve service ?

  • New bike? Shouldn't be worn out already.
    Tighten nut slightly.

  • Anyone looking to move on a single speed, maybe 2 speed Brompton? Probably need postage as down on the south coast.

  • Turn the nut 1/2 or 1 turn

  • Anyone found a bag or good use for the triangle section of the Brompton frame?

  • Anyone successfully removed the Brompton rack but kept the mudguards in place? Inherited an old M3R and attempting to make it go faster than a slug.
    Any other must-mods?
    Cheers!

  • Just need l type guard and stays

  • Can’t think of a prettier hub than these!

  • That is very pretty but the angle/bend in the spokes? 😬

  • Says the one who insists on keeping the snowflake lacing alive

  • Haha so true!

  • Has anyone got any tan walled tyres for a Brompton going ?

  • Got a pair of these

  • Parts gathered and upgraded to the CHPT3

that bike looks super nice 👌

  • Cheers, shaved off almost 2kg off the bike.

Currently sitting around 7.9kg (without bags and lights)

  • 👍🏻🙏

  • Anyone looking for a T-line? Before I return mine to BJ, if someone wants buy mine you’re more than welcome to take it off me for the same asking price.

This is a bad sign isn't it?
I remember your review. Why not return it with a full review and reinforce the point that beta testers/paying a premium is kind of inconsistent

  • reinforce the point that beta testers/paying a premium is kind of inconsistent

Thats brompton in a nutshell, it will fall on deaf ears, its their MO with poundshop Steve Jobs at helm.

  • You would get a better bike when you spending this much money tbh.

I will do a proper review of this bike later when I return it back. (still hoping they have fixed all my issues..)

I genuinely am sick and tired of this bike. It has been back to the factory 3 times already and they say now 'it is fixed' which i will take with a pinch of salt from my passed experiences with them over the pass month.

I think I've rode this bike less than 50 mile. I didn't make it through to their 4 months 'free service'.

They will always have a loyal support saying it's an amazing bike, and I would agree, it is an amazing 'bike', but as a folding bike, save your money and get an old school 2 speed, or the new C line. The new 4 speed derailleur is fundamentally flawed.

  • Can't wait to see their poundland new HQ centre in Ashford...

  • Got these in stock

  • Funny how the Conti box is “much” smaller!

  • What happened to Brompton Junction Westfield? Not been for ages but work took me to that bit of London so popped by and it’s all disappeared. Covid casualty?
