Deya tap takeover at Red Willow in Buxton this weekend. Having the two side by side made me realise Red Willow make better beer than Deya.
This was very nice though.

It’s been said, but to reiterate: Tesco are delivering the goods with the Belgian stuff at the moment. If you don’t like going to Tesco, why not do what I did and buy > £40 worth and get them to deliver it?

Random Tesco beer purchase.
Smells very mango, tastes rather sour, comes out of the can very thick.
Not rushing back to buy more, but happy enough to finish this one.

Anyone know of any baby-named or themed beers? Beer nerd mate is expecting so I wanted to see if there's some baby-related beers out there. Need to be easy to find in the UK

In these days of paying £7.60 for a pint of very average 4.3% pale at the Beer Cabin in Norwood Junction, it’s nice to remember that St Austell’s Proper Job is a very serviceable ale for £1.70 while watching the footy.

Founders? * spits *
I had a bottle of Westvleteren Blonde while watching Pidders romp up the Alpe this afternoon.
Also on my mini tour of France I visited an ace little brewery called Brasserie Thiriez in Esquelbecq. Well worth seeking out - even stashed a couple of bottles in my panniers for the journey back.

Founders
Did I forget they've sold out or something? It's hard to keep track... Backwoods Bastard is still in my top 3 though.
It's been a very long day and my usual takeout is closed so I've ended up with Pizza delivered to the bar a few doors down for dinner. Shindigger Festiva, going down well with the pizza.
