FS: 54cm Vintage (French?) bike

  • Long time listener, first time caller... Selling this to clear some space.
Any questions and I’ll try and do my best, but here’s what I know -

    15 speed Vintage bike ( 5 x 3 ) 54cm frame but it feels more like a small than a medium.

I don’t know a lot about it, I’m pretty sure its vintage because - well, it looks old - and the measurements are all a bit weird. (Plus it says France on the bars :P)

I think the Genius stickers have been put on more recently but I can’t be sure.
I don’t know what it is, but interestingly it does say ‘Zeus - 2000’ engraved in the fork.?

It’s been an indoors bike most of the time I’ve holding onto it, but I’ve moved house now and it’s just in the way. Please someone come and give it some love, In South London - Brockley. Looking for £100 but open to suggestions.

    Fanks

  • Smart, Zeus 2000 fork crown and frame style puts it in the 70's so it's lasted well :)

  • Is this a Zeus Criterium?
Looks a lot like it with the crown fork and spear point lugs
If so, nice Reynolds tubed French racer from the late ‘70’s
Chainset is really nice as well

    Edit! What @midlife said lol

  • Bump - Any interest at £80?

  • The Zeus 2000 was a not uncommon fork crown available to frame builders in the 1970s. Doesn't necessarily mean the whole frame was made by Zeus in Spain.

  • Dibs, can I give it a spin

  • Second dibs. If BennyFreeb doesn't take it let me know.

  • Yeah, send me a dm and let’s arrange a time/date.
