In seriousness, @rickster is right - you’ll lose money from respraying a genuine Japanese Squier.
I'm gonna leave it as is if that's the case. In fairness, it's highly doubtful I'll ever sell it, but in the unlikely event I need to, it'd be good not to have spent good money on making it less valuable.
