Doing that work between calls yesterday was a bad idea. I don't feel well and my wee looks and smells like Guinness. Haven't tasted it, yet.
Drinking all of the water today and reassuring myself that I got it done before the weekend rain and today's scorcher.
Ordered the deck boards, to be delivered next Tuesday. I love Fulham timber.
Still need to decide on the front edging. Will I lap the first horizontal board over the top of the vertical facing board or the opposite? I'm also 99% sure I'm going with smooth side up since learning fairly recently (on here and elsewhere) that the ridges are for looks and not for grip.
If I go with the first board lapping over the face board, I should be able to stick to the number of boards I wanted with a 5mm gap instead of 3mm.
Will be using stainless screws at the recommendation of @ColinTheBald
