• My burner has packed down so small, I now can't find it. Ugh.

  • Ice dye Burner List ;o)

  • I'm still on the T-shirts! :-S

....but have come here to post news for all those waiting on the T-shirt restock; have received the printed t's (from the lovely Third Rail in Bermondsey) and have spent the afternoon doing the first part of overdyeing.

Still to wash through, press etc, but will be in touch with all those waiting a DM group for payment/delivery details. Once everything is confirmed, I'm going to try to get batches out each day. Thank you for the patience!

...Who was wearing one at Primavera?! :)

  • Which dyes do you use? Now summer finally seems to be here might give it a go with my daughters

  • i keep it next to my HRM ALWAYS

  • Keep it in your little saddle bag. If you can find it.

  • This goes missing too

  • Usually I keep it in my helmet with my gloves, but well it is not there

  • I’ve made batches with small tabs on, so they could be attached/used as pull tabs, but I guess this is no use when they’re stored/forgotten about in a winter jacket pocket.

Seager, Chalfie, can’t promise, but I’ll see if I have any samples/seconds I could get over to you.

  • Why store it packed? Keep it unfolded so you can find it, and then pack it down for rides where space is an issue. Most weekend loops have an unused 1/4 pocket space for an essentially weightless unfolded burner

  • I wore mine at weekend 1 :)

  • I’m using the Dylon machine dyes, mainly because it’s what I started with and have ended up in their colour eco-system, but they come mixed with the salt & fixing chemicals. This makes it a one-shot for convenience and consistency, plus easy to pickup locally

I’ve looked at Rit, which are (supposedly) more environmentally friendly, but haven’t actually tried them yet - less synthetic palette which looks appealing

The quantities in the Dylon tubs are pretty huge for a small kids T, so I could put together a kit for you if you let me know colours? To give you an idea, the Day Tripping T’s are 4 colours; Dark Blue, Light Blue, Yellow, Orange, with the blue and yellow mixing to make the green in the centre. It’s taken a while to learn to mix colours like a spectrum, and work together, unless you’re after an olive-sludge!

  • Nervous to show this, with the potential List-Risk, but here’s one I made off the back of last workshops.

    Really nice inky blues, purples, dark reds, with glow-in-the-dark logo transfer. These darker, richer colours work best with the ice-technque, creating the liquid, trippy flows, then set off with the pale green glow film;

  • A kit would be ace. I guess colour spectrum similar to original ones available at pop up for maybe 2 kids 2 adult t shirts?
If that is getting to quantise of tubs though do say. The brown sludge does make me nervous.

  • Burner about to pay for itself…

  • Wehay, beautiful, enjoy!

    — long shot, but if you are descending to Sault, please lookout for the Sony Ericsson mobile that fell out my gilet pocket in 2009, cheers.

  • Is this the eponymous burner?

  • Burner phone
    Ventoux '09 TdF
    Armstrong

    It's all adding up here.

  • ooooh! many thanks.

  • Absolute scandal

  • Ooof yes please

  • I did descend to Sault. Couldn’t spot the blower though. Soz. Burner worked a treat though!

  • No worries - think I'm doing the Vent-Two-Three in September, so will have a chance to have a good look myself 😂

Ridiculous descent isn't it? Not the most scenic, but maybe the fastest I've been on a bike.
