When home will load up pics of some good examples. Meanwhile will enjoy the 3d display in the 208 and try to ignore the pointlessly large rear view mirror for what is such a small rear window

How long are you there for? I’ll be in the lot region for a couple of weeks from the 22nd
-
• #71329
So will I. Feel free to play spot the twat in the x type or s type....

I may well be in the Lot around then too. You'll see many Citroën C5s, DS3s or Peugeot 2008s. I may be in one of them.
(Top tip. You pronounce the t in Lot, like it's an English word. Unlike the voiceover woman on Chateau DIY)

Nice. Blue or white UK Tesla Model Y's will be us.
Parents place is about 20 mins north of Cahors.

I’d much rather be in a newer car if it came to a big accident though .
Not a nice thought -

The chap I support at work owns a car that we drive him around in.
Arnold Clark have quoted him £1800 for a catalytic converter change.
Does this sound right?
Quick Google suggests that about £1000 overpriced -

Up to Paris on Friday and back home on Sunday. Am a lot further east in Cevennes anyway. Absolutely stunning round here and I understand why you come so regularly ( family aside)

Nice. It’s lovely over that way.
Safe drive back!
Got 1100km of EV driving to do next Wednesday to get there.

Picked up rental in Avignon after few days riding. Will drop off there and be back on TGV and eurostar. Enjoy the drive dude.
Not EV but my Virtuo rental is first time controlling access and start up via app. Quite satisfying

Already here. Middle of nowhere in a tree house between Alès and Florac

Related. Any suggestions for car hire firms in France, or just pick one of the usual candidates?

That’s cool. I’ve done tgv from Toulouse to Bordeaux to Paris before after I cycled down from London to Cahors, solo.
Train ride was really pretty

Always go through moneysavngsexpert suggested aggregating sites. Never heard of Virtuo before but like the not dealing with people part, particularly as my French is shit. But all the usual ones will come up anyway. I always buy my own excess too. Have a good trip dude

Train is always my favourite way to travel. Picked up rental in Toulouse before too. But I know you have more stuff and I know your Tesla willaje easy work of it. Have a good trip dude. Will have to see you back in the flatlands instead

Yeah. Two weeks of stuff for the little one isn’t going to cut in on the train /plane.
Season starts on July 30th. Hope you and Tim can make it to the hawthorns at some point this year.

If you wander any where near the PBP start gimme a shout.

Thanks. Visit not until August but would like to get it booked. I'll have a look at this Virtuo too, am intrigued.

We will for sure dude
Yeah got a perfectly capable 208 as a rental while spending a bit of time in the south of France. But am up in the heights of the massif centrale just seeing loads of old 205s, ZXs and C15 vans and wishing I was driving them
