Weirdly just came here to ask the exact same question!
Also, one more for the mix: I am running some old QR skewers from an old SRAM road groupset I currently have on my Straggler. On rougher terrain the skewers can sometimes work their way loose. I recall previously a couple of people mentioning the 'go-to' skewer that ensures the wheel won't go anywhere, but can't remember what it was?

Ha funnily enough I asked your QR question some pages back after getting a bit of rear axle slippage. I already had Shimano skewers but think I’d just not tightened them enough. I also fitted the dropout screws, which seem to do a good job but are an extra pain when removing the wheel.

How wide have folks gone with tyres on a Straggler running 700c? Surly say 42mm is the max but it looks like you could go bigger. They confusingly state that's the rough limit both with and without mudguards. (This is not the current gen straggler but the previous one, 2016 maybe?)
