Someone tried to steal some bits off my bike the other day, so I've put ball bearings into the heads on my allen bolts. Now I have no way to remove them when I need to; does anyone know where I'll find a reasonably strong magnet on a keyring?
You'll need an angle grinder to remove the heads from the bolts. Then, something to remove the threaded sections. Good luck.
Are they CA glued in? Acetone will shift that.
Search eBay for super strong disc magnet.
If hou hammered them in then cutting a notch in them with a dremel and removing with a flat head is your best bet.
If they’re not hammered in, a needle or superglued bit of cloth could work.
Frozen sausage next time? ;)
not the answer to your question, but related; i found these the other day
