Wdmusic.co.uk do necks and loads of other bits. Always been my go to as I lived locally and got to go rummage through their stuff when I were a nipper

@Fatberg-Dooks
thanks, I wasn't aware it had a strobe mode. I'm guessing that's one string at a time?
I've played (stumbled through) guitar since I was 8 and I'm saving up for an ibanez S series and I would really like to seem like I have been playing over 20 years with guitars that are in tune and intonated.
Kinda embarrassing the state my 2 are in BUT I do like to tinker I guess.Speaking of saving up fro something good, I need to get rid id my Blackstar HT60 Stage (mk1).
Reverb has sold prices ranging from 200/250 up to 400!
Its got the cover, the footswitch and cable, papers great condition and everything works.
Think I'll get 250/300?
eBay or reverb?
(I'm in Leeds so doubt it would sell on here) -

The strobe display is for single strings but you can still strum all 6 and it will give you the polyphonic display. Though I really only use the strobe mode to be honest.

Admittedly he mostly works on rifle stocks - but I know a man, well actually a demigod when it comes to wood repair if you want a steer. Really inexpensive too.

You might remember a shattered Hondo on here. It's up for sale now.

Well that was fun. First gig since way pre-lockdown. First gig sober probably ever. Scheduling was a bit off as I was playing a set of gentle finger picked folk shiz and was put on last after a shit-kicking floor stomping full-on “gay eco socialist “ folk band that had the whole room thumping tables and singing along. My set was a bit of a gear change down to have on last. Went well enough tho. Lots of nice feedback. Friday bushed with 1952 Vincent Black Lightning which is always fun for the fingers. The trusty ol’Sigma sounded and played nice as always. All in all: happy!

£320 dollarbucks for my spec. Looks good tho... shall I? Seems a bit OTT for a mystery wood ebay body. I think i might just keep an eye out on the classifieds for something bargainous.

I’ve not tried them myself but I’ve read good things about their blackguard tele necks. Looks like they do good work.

Def the best looking design-your-own site I’ve tried. The licensed headstock shape is a deal breaker for me too. Can’t deal with stuff that’s in the uncanny valley of almost.

Just had pints in my pub (that is now two doors down from my guitar pusher).
Hey ho. Those pints are expensive.

The Monel strings are ace, but they need to be played in before they sound their best.
Normally takes me a week or two.
Once they're played in they sound lovely and warm and last for ages.

Any views on Duo-Sonics please?
I’ve had an Epiphone Casino Coupe for a few years but I’ve come to accept that as lovely as it is, I could do with a guitar with a shorter scale and narrower neck.
The Duo-Sonic (90s version or current one) seems to fit the bill. Curious to hear what the folks of LFGSS think of them before I try to get my hands on one for a play.
