I found it really annoying that they wasted a metric shit ton of the time from the whole series drawing out the relationship between marc and steven but then would have throw in pivotal moments where big reveals about stuff required an in-depth knowledge of the comics to know what the fuck was going on. If they were going to do that they should have just made him ready to go and given us some actual competent superhero storyline action instead and let the audience learn about how he came to be another way.
not sure why they think every single origin story has to be about the person when they have no powers or can't use them. they're always just some chump running away from shit most of the time.
