  • Daniel Kaluuya and Lakeith Stanfield performances are top grade, I managed to catch this on the flight back from BIMshire this morning

  • Oooookaaaaay top gun was really good. Tom Cruise Scientology blah blah blah. But ignoring that, great stuff.

  • X was full of lovely 70s Americana and creepy as hell and top old school camera work. Really put the sexy back in dungarees too, at least for half of the film.

  • I watched this weekend too. Thought it was good fun.

  • I watched Ali and Ava. I really like Clio Barnards stuff so I thought it was great.

  • I watched The Northman last night. I enjoyed it a fair bit, I think Robert Eggers did a good job of making something with broader appeal than his usual spooky stuff. It looked great as well.

  • did a good job of making something with broader appeal than his usual spooky stuff

While still being as intense as his usual stuff. Saw it last week, definite thumbs up.

  • Exactly! It made me really want to rewatch The Lighthouse and The VVitch.

  • Top Gun. Pretty well done but absolute twaddle from end-to-end.

  • Against my better judgement Mrs EB convinced me to go and see Everything everywhere all at once. Terrible, what a mess.

  • Watching Mortal Kombat and it is the exact brain numbing nonsense I was hoping for.

  • Everything Everywhere All at Once. Massively entertaining. Worth cinema for sure

  • Yep, loved it!

  • I watched the 1995 version the other day. Stupid as fuck.

  • Might go for that tomorrow

  • of course in the UK we call it Boss Gun

  • I'm not sure I'd recommend it, ha ha.

  • I’m trying to find some time to see it again. Such a lot of fun.

  • The Northman. What a load of shite.

  • Everything Everywhere All At Once. I won't say too much because I think it's a film that you're better off going in to knowing as little as possible. I loved it, it took most of the film's run time to really "get it" though.

  • We replayed the original Top Gun last night and saw the new one today. As previously noted on here, the story (in both) is complete twaddle but despite that they’re still a great watch.

  • On the gameshow Pointless there were only 2 'call signs' from topgun that were pointless answers. I got 1
Still proud to this day. The shame

  • Just finished watching Men. I thought it was great. Interesting, modern, folky horror. I don't want to sound prudish but I was surprised it had a 15 rating. Some of it was fairly graphic.

  • I just watched 'In fabric'... It was like a more fucked up version of Tales of the unexpected! Weird, creepy, and funny at the same time.

  • A buddy of mine saw Neptune Frost in NY last week and gave it a rave review

I’m not one for musicals but this does look like it might be an exception
