Another Cargo fork getting press...

Nice design. Looks like a cargo headtube extension rather than a fork like the other options. A grand though

Anyone else with Bosch CX found virtually no difference between "Sports" and "Turbo" power settings? I'm pretty sure there used to be a definite gradation but there isn't now. Wondering whether it's possible that a software update done a few months ago was the cause?

A grand though
That's not going to be the production cost though, it says a small run will be made first and that doesn't sound unreasonable to cover their time and costs.
I really like the idea and if I had a suitable bike already, it would be a cool option to have instead of shelling out for a whole bike.

Cool idea. Would be great they can do bigger runs at lower costs!

Seen the V3 Omnium eCargo only seems to come with the Nexus 5 speed IGH? For family/gentle usage its OK, but if you possess more than 200w of legs you'll be waiting on madison to inspect/warranty a few of them before you get fed up of it*
*Had some folk achieve massive mileage on Nexus 5, everyone else has had quite a few replacements! Suspect maybe there is a version change or something as in the last year they've been a bit better?

Yeah, did think the Benno looked good but the only other longtail that she might be comfortable with size wise is the Moustache Lundi 20, sounds like there's a lack of accessories available currently though.
Will encourage her to go and have a look at a UA or similar but sounds like she would be able to get the hang of carrying them on the GSD.

We love our Benno.
I'd encourage test rides with kids if possible!

Difficult sell when you can get a soma tradesman frameset for less (ish).

A cheaper Tern, what could possible go wrong?
:Edit: In my eagerness to be snarky, I didn't even notice it's non-electric.

those terns look so shit

Actual opinion or just trolling @amey? :P :P
R+M tinker I think is the one that sort of looks like that too?
Like with anything, test ride all the options before blowing £5k on anything. You can listen to us internet folks a certain amount, but you'll not know if you actually like the thing without riding it around**
**Although been looking at cars recently, even new cars, and apparently 'test driving' a car to see if you even like it/not have your spine go into so much pain you loose feeling in your lower body due to its seats (KIA seats WTF!), is not the done thing anymore?

Kickstand needed some fettling so I swapped back to the straight bar on the back of the clubhouse+ to be able to stand it on end.

Another sidewall bites the dust...
My "Schwalbe Energizer Plus TOUR GreenGuard Wired EBike", in use for 3 months only, didn't like going down a pavement kerb (unloaded).
Got some Schwalbe Pick-up this time so hopefully will last longer than Energizer (3 months) / Marathon Plus (6 months).
First impressions - feels heavy and almost like a moped tyre. Inspiring confidence!
EDIT: Purchased from Fawkes Cycles online, 20 x 2.15 front £31.65, 26 x 2.15 rear £33.95

Not sure they'll fit on the Douze yet as the mudguard spec is for 50mm tyres - should be snug.
Width is 2.15 which should be 55mm but they look way way wider. I will confirm fitted size & rim width once I get round doing it
