Some options there yeah.
I've fancied an officine generale 375 jacket for ages, but that'll be too warm for what I need right now. Have a pair of their trousers and they're lovely.
Anyway managed to get a barena jacket and trouser combo from kafka, and grabbed a cheaper linen suit from massimo dutti to see how it looks

Linen just creases like mad which makes it super hard to wear as a suit imo

Very much yeah but such a nice fabric in the summer. Can dress it down and still look smart, so I like it for work as well.

Yesterday I was lamenting the demise of Prada red label garments. I loved their use of synthetic fabrics in a more formal context. Minutes later walked into a Hugo Boss store and discovered their performance range and found a casual suit.
I got the grey one as it reminded me of a Prada Sport one I saw Michael Mayer from Kompakt records wear when playing at a festival in Switzerland years ago.

will you get some tanning lotion for your ankles too?

Sunspel Riviera for me.
I’ve also got a couple of vintage Missoni knitwear polos but don’t care much for the current ones myself.

Not much help as bust - but the ones I have from Jaeger are the best I’ve found.

Went in and had a look at these, they’re really nice but I don’t want a pocket. I picked up a couple of Bottega Veneta ones in the Matches sale which are perfect other than the rrp 🙁

Got two nice t-shirts and some casual trousers from Jackman last week. Very pleased with them.

Does anyone have recommendations for white t-shirts?

I quite like John Lewis' ANYDAY t-shirts. They're sort of semi boxy/semi relaxed, old school thickness if that makes sense?
The quality of all the ANYDAY stuff is good. Idk why they have to caps the name tho.

Is business casual for men still the same now as it was before the pandemic?

Primark currently have an airtex type t shirt for £7, they look really good and wash well too.

I like the Uniqlo U tshirts

In general I find people are dressing more casually but I think it’s personal preference. I dress the same now as before

Currently wearing one of the oversized U t shirts. $19.90 just ridiculously good value. Does make my ethical spidey senses tingle though. Well, Uniqlo in general. Also just left a Uniqlo with a couple of different polos for Italian wedding vibes and a Marni windbreaker. I tried to buy some Marni bits online earlier in the week but Uniqlo’s shit website crapped out on me and wouldn’t allow me to checkout…..

Uniqlo’s shit website
It's fucking awful isn't it!?
I was trying to look for unlined or less formal blazers, but think I'll just try and go to a store because it's easier to travel into London and walk around a shop than it is to use their website.

Cheers.
What I think I really need to find is some sort of unlined jacket, but which has some sort of structure in the shoulders as otherwise I feel like I loose a good feature and look either a bit stuffed in or scruffy.
... Or maybe I'll just wear a jumper and take a bag to put it in if I get hot.

Don’t tell anyone that I’m just about to buy some stuff from J Crew too 😭 but their summer stuff this year is really nice.
