Bit of a weird one I guess, but what cable (canti) brake lever is a good visual match for one of these?
Disc front, canti rear - hoping to minimise how odd it looks.

I guess something BMXy, a dirt Harry or a Paul lever, I think Clarks do a super cheap option too.

Search 2 finger brake lever.
-
• #112855
Yeah “2 finger lever” is a good shout. Finding it hard to find stuff that’s short pull or whatever you call canti/road calliper pull.
-

BMX is short pull and usually the same shape,

I'm sure Tektro do something similar.
Box components have some similar shaped lever blades. -

I did see those box levers. Look lovely, but a little north of my budget (as are Paul levers).

It’s a bit noisy for my liking.
..have you tried cotton balls?

Just use PowerPoint? Scale the tents to the map.

I went to the station day before as I had forgotten to book the bike when getting my ticket. It was free and they just printed the ticket out.. really simple doing it in person, was a total nightmare trying to do online

centre lock disc brake rotor question.
Is there any difference between centre lock rotors for 12mm thru axle and/or quick release?
I'm looking to get some second hand (saving the planet yo!) for new dynamo hub and don't want to buy any if they won't fit the hub.
I'm thinking there shouldnt be, but hey bike standards...Thanks in advance.

Rotors are the same but lockrings sometimes aren't cross compatible
The ones with the internal spline that use a cassette tool fit on QR wheels and some 12mm ones.
The ones with the external spline that use a hollow tech BB tool fit on pretty much all wheels -

thanks, how will I know the difference from ebay photo's?

Any rotors will be fine.
I'm guessing the wheels you are wanting to use will have a lockring to hold the rotor on but if not, you will need to buy some.
I have used these on my own wheels and several customers ones at work
https://www.wiggle.co.uk/prime-1520mm-center-lock-lockring
They say for 15 and 20mm thru axle but they're also a safe bet for 12mm axles.
Sometimes the end caps on 12mm wheels can make it impossible to get the tool in to tighten the other type of lockring. Like these -

Can grown men wear striped shirts (as in: horizontal, thin stripes, "breton stripes") - or is this basically for women (and kids)?
The more I look at images of men wearing these the more I get the impression it's just super weird, if you're not on a boat, or drunk and at a carnival or something.

You wear what you want! Don't worry about what the others think.

You've basically looked at too many (x) and now it seems weird.

Context- the other end of the earth wire was attached to the chassis of the Anglepoise, but the plug end was turned back on itself and secured with tape, which looks to be of an age with the lamp- late 60’s to early 70’s.

Did you buy it off John le Carré?

There's so much wrong there that it's time to start from scratch
