Sadly in this country we’ve inherited our coffee culture from America rather than Italy or Spain so we are largely served buckets of scalding shit. It’s not just chains either. All the independents round me are poor at making coffee.

As someone with an essential tremor, I for one appreciate a lid. I don’t mind asking for one if it’s not fitted as standard but my hate is the general inability of your average barista to put the thing on properly.
