  • What, my loss of faith in our system?

  • Are we in Britain about to accept Trumpish ‘alternative facts’ leadership?

What do you imagine the last decade has been all about?

  • Along with the rest of us, yes

  • I’m sure it never used to be this bad.

Sure, PMs would make decisions we didn’t agree with (of whatever stripe) but piss in my mouth and tell me it is lemonade……..

  • Yeah agree. Fact is that he's lied in the commons countless times, it's just that this time there's photographic evidence to prove it.

It's what happens when you have someone who has zero integrity or respect for the public office, they get shown up on the most trivial thing because it's the simplest demonstration of who they are.

The upside is that he's perfectly showed up the Met Police to be the establishment cronies that they are too.

  • Yet he still hasn’t fucked off yet. He’s an embarrassment to humanity.

  • They won't try to remove him either. He could take them all with him by calling a GE.

  • Guardian estimate that there are at least 50 of the 54 required letters of no confidence. Not sure how valid that is

  • There is no way he'll lose the vote of no confidence tho.

  • Not without a contender no.

  • Fair dealing rules in UK copyright are different for text compared to photos.

  • Fair enough - just inferred from mutterings from people a bit closer to all of this. Guess it's dependent on the meetings going on now.

  • There is no way he'll lose the vote of no confidence tho.

That’s almost better for Tory in fighting, life isn’t going to get any better for people regardless of which Tory is in charge.

The Privileges committee investigation is going to be interesting. If it was just going to be a stitch up the Tory’s would have just voted it down. There’s a very good chance he’ll be found guilty of lying. They’ll have to give him a suspension which could trigger a recall petition and they only need 10% of constituents to sign and he’s no longer an mp and has to fight a by-election. That would be hilarious.

  • he’s no longer an mp and has to fight a by-election

    A wild Binface appears...

  • Can't get my head around how the party in the No10 flat went uninvestigated.

The MET are the lackies of No10, obvs

  • "I take full responsibility..."

Where's the resignation then? If law-breaking and lying isn't punishable then what the fuck is the point of any rule, regulation or law for this lot?

  • Me either. I mean, you can't prove it, oh there's photos, well, I'm sorry, I err um look refugees jumping the fence!

  • They said that about thatcher tho (technically she didn't lose the vote but withdrew).

  • This whole clusterfuck is the best possible example of why first past the post voting needs to go. He can only hold onto his job because of his majority, the fact that anyone voted for a party led by him sickens me in the first place the fact that he can't be got rid if sickens me more.

I'm contemplating getting my tent out of the attic and setting up camp on Parliament Square with a massive sign that says "Boris is a lying cunt!"

  • People know he's a lying cunt and still vote for him though.

Maybe you need a new sign, maybe something like "Boris is fucking your mum" or something that might actually turn voters off.

  • Am not sure that would bother those that voted for him
“What a geezer, lol, man of the people, priced in, down to earth” ad infinitum

  • I just got a mental image of a pale white gelatinous blob with a needle dick hard on humping my mother’s fifteen year dead corpse. Yup. Powerful imagery.

  • It’s pointless but I’ve written again to my spineless lickspittle of an MP as to not do so would play into his hands. I will then follow up every few days until I get a response.

And I’m thinking further of my election campaign (headline strategy - persuade people to vote for anyone but the incumbent).

Three word slogans seem to be en vogue so thinking of

Absent (he never fucking responds or is seen in the constituency)

Arrogant (when he does respond or write in the local paper it’s just sneering)

Corrupt (he works a day a week for a finance company based in a tax haven, getting paid more than his annual MP salary in the process - rhetorical question, but why not fuck off and work for them full time?)

    So, there it is.

    Absent. Arrogant. Corrupt.

It may need polishing but it’s a start

  • Absent. Arrogant. Corrupt.

    Brilliant!
