Step-Grandfathers long service Garrard on today.
I’ve been polishing it up trying to save the original, heavily scarred, crystal.
He was an engineer at Vauxhall in Luton and when he got this he just wore it at work!
It’s the dressiest watch I have so want to get it ready for post-pandemic wedding season.
It needs a new strap though, anyone got a good line on straps for 15mm lugs?
Edit - 35mm watch on a broken wrist looks tiny, the wrist will hopefully become less fat and less broken over time!
