Neat solution! I already have the rack though.

What colour bar tape you thinking?
Will take some better photos once the pedals arrive.

Strange question but what do you do for a living?
I work as a development engineer in the automotive industry, but my background is in industrial design. And thanks!

now it looks extra swish

• #107
Yes!

• #108
Yeah it's cute. I was expecting black bartape tho

Fuck yeah great bike
I really like how classic looking crusts are.
My one thing, and it’s a me thing, is set back seat posts with the saddle so far forward. I think it would look better with an inline.

The Flite is kind of a funky saddle, because the rails are pushed all the way to the back. So it's now actually pretty much in the middle of the rails. But I get what you mean.
Looking at the seat post now, it falls a bit short compared to the rest of the build. I might swap it out for a Nitto S65. Saddle will probably also make way for a Brooks C17 I have laying in the closet.

Ooh, pink bar tape, goes nicely with the Crust decal.

Green rack/fork/canti holder combination is so excellent.

Aha, like an inverse SMP! I have no experience with flite, I know Hulsroy like them though

Wow, that's pretty light. I definitely won't sleep at night now.
I picked up a Singular Peregrine in the end. I'm happy with it, but it's pretty damn heavy.

Also a very nice bike. Are you doing a thread as well?

• #116
This is delightful. Is it yours/custom made?
-
• #117
Yes, this. Very very good.

• #118
I made it for a friend yes. It solves some issues with chatter for sure.

Very elegant.

Looks ace, bar tape matched to the crust logo is extra good !
-
• #122
Nice! Subtle and pop at the same time. Hard to pull off, but top work.
-
• #123
Thanks folks. Black bar tape probably looks better, but the pink does give it some pizzazz.
-
• #124
Pink looks great on this, works really well with the logo.

Gotta be pink
Strange question but what do you do for a living? I have never seen such meticulously lined up and placed items in Current Projects photographs before.
Edit: Sick bike btw.
