The others are in decent condition. The weather has got in behind the paint and some wood needs to be removed. I’m sure I could cut/chisel it out and put a new bit in myself, but wouldn’t really know what I’m doing. Was expecting it to be about ~£200 for a sill splice/replacement, which I’d be fine with, based on their prices, so not sure why it’s come out so much more.
Been quoted £576 to repair/replace this sill. Seems like a lot…
