Just boggles my mind what you can get away with as an MP compared to being an employee in a decent size organisation

And the costs associated with running as an MP. Apparently the average mp has forked out almost £20k to get elected, that doesn't include essentially working for free for 2 - 3 years pre campaigning before the election officially starts.
Little wonder that there are so many entitled arseholes who end up doing the job.
