It could very well be the best food on the planet.

Yours are a fortnight before ours, a few isolated ones here, yet will be coming soon to this thread.

Ramadan. It's basically an extended period of festivity and community focus combined with excellent food to be enjoyed when you're in a state most likely to enjoy it. What's not to love?
Our local mosque has a big free to enter football match just after Eid. They end up with something like 20 a side...men, women, Muslims, non Muslims all hacking at each others ankles with hijabs flying in Greenwic Park. Epic touchline food also.

Cracked a rib today crashing the fixie on a crushed brick path through the allotments.
You know how much a cracked rib hurts? Lots, and there is sod all you can do but suck it up.
I thought I was sotto voce coming in to the house, but then heard a nine year old son in the next room.
“Fucknugget - that’s a new one! I’m using that!”

I feel your pain, cracked mine falling flat on back due to ice a few years ago.
Still looking for the love in your post though... -

Wait until you sneeze...

To be fair, whatever sound emerges immediately after that will be unintelligible.
