I cannot see the vast swathes of wooden bin stores and small shed like structures that house bikes that are all over col de waltham forest have planning permission and I doubt the council would give a shit. I guess if you wanna do things properly you pay the council their 240 quid but it does sound like an utter con.
I'd have no hesitation in just plonking it down there as long as it would have been granted permission anyway and you know your neighbours won't grass you up.
In other news today I found out my son got into the local primary school 2 roads away. I thought as we moved on 29th march and the deadline for an in time application was February that we would have been stuffed as the school is outstanding and over subscribed. So I am absolutely dumbfounded he got offered a place today. Which I accepted within 2 minutes of receiving the email in case it was a mistake.

Regarding bike shed, I think I will go with it and make sure is within current regulations. I don’t see us moving anytime soon and if we had to, it could be easily disassembled, retrospectively granted permission or insured with indemnity. Thanks everyone!
