Just finished preparing a planning application for a front bike shed only to discover Waltham Forest Council's fee is a modest £238.20! What are the risks if we decided to go rogue and install a shed that complies with planning reg without applying? Are we likely to get a fine? Is retrospective planning equally expensive? I doubt everyone in the street has paid that amount as the only planning application for such a similar project comes from 2 doors down and, unlike many neighbours, he has deep pockets
100pc I'd fuck it off and install it anyway. They do not have the resources to come round to enforce. Why does it need it anyway I didn't think you needed it unless it was a conservation area
