My experience of this stuff is it looks serious but they didn't really seem to care very much. We had random bits of money coming from all over the place with little paper trail and nothing was flagged.

Apparently same here, I gave them a bunch of statements, some crypto, some not even from UK banks, not even covering the full deposit + stamp duty amount (short by about 7%) rubberstamp-approved without any questions.

Despite becoming super trendy in the last few years Hackney, as well as Dalston and Clapton, are still pretty rough areas to live for families. You can still hear gunshots at night from time to time
