If it’s been cut it sounds like it’s new fork time. You can only build up with spacers as high as the fork is cut to, if that makes sense.

Easier just to get a new one, go wild with spacers and then decide where to cut it. Sell the old forks to recoup some cost?

Hi and thanks for your quick help! You've just solved one of life's mysteries for me.

Must admit, I don't really understand the sense of the ahead system. It's seems so unsustainable. But perhaps I am missing something. Anyway, like you said, perhaps I can sell the old one.
