  • Kristoff has never gone well at Roubaix. I would love to see him win though.

    There is no evidence that Ganna can be competitive in a monument.

    Van Der Poel surely 5 star favourite.

  • I would agree on MVDP but I think the role luck plays at PR means it’s a lot less likely the strongest rider wins.

    The bookies obviously don’t agree/fancy a kicking.

  • I think it's often the other way round. It's such a brutal race that everyone gets "bad luck" and only the strongest can keep riding back from mishaps. Also, the weaker riders are more likely to be on the limit and have to pick worse lines following the wheels. Like Flanders, it's a race where the winner is often one of the favourites. Even in a surprise winner year, the podium is normally stacked.
