Both very nice builds....

I had some swept bars on mine but the reduction in reach was just uncomfortable. I may try and longer stem and my On-One mary bars though as that would suit more than these risers!

The bars are BLB big smoke in 25.4. I hate they are blb but they are decent, something like 75/80mm rise and 720 wide etc.

Thanks for that. They were already on my list - may just have to go for a set.

My frame is kind of sized up, so I can run the swept bars + stubby stem and still be comfortable. These frames seemed to come with huge 110mm stems so I was worried about the handling with short stem but..seems fine.

Works good with the front rack

yeah I found a long stem and my mary's got in the way of my rack/basket.

I need to find myself a 22" retro mtb frame then I think.

They are SKS race blades for 700c but i resized them for 650c and i have added extra flaps from Raw Mudflaps. Means i get great cover from the front wheel even though it does often catch on speedbumps etc

Also never liked grey sidewalls. But you made it work! Cudos!
