yeah that's certainly an option, you can get from there to Chingford without going on the road pretty much. Could warm up on the trails in the Olympic park.

Or do the link walk from Hackney Central to Hackney Downs and get the train all the way to Chingford.

Pretty much goes without saying that the Chingford line will be closed that weekend

If this happens again, I'll be riding up from Enfield Lock station, as I'll be getting there via Liverpool St

if the line is off and you have to come from south london, reccomend this route

it's all segregated past hackney and then fully single track once you get to the park at whipps cross, means you can take your biggest rig and not feel presured by traffic when you're huffing on 22x28
