I have 35s, I can measure

• #8978
That would be great!

They measure true, at least on my 19mm internal rims for both 35 and 32s

I'm going to do a 26er conversion on my Kona Ute cargo with some fat rims.
Got loads of clearance.
Is there a better option than Schwalbe Big Apple 2.35?
Riding is mostly tarmac, occasional gravely/ grassy paths. -

Kenda Small Block 8, 2.1 though so not as wide. Roll nicely and grippy on loose stuff, no use in SFAB. Can be run tubeless if that's your thing.

Thanks for the suggestion. I wanted to go and wide as possible with the tyres.

Vittoria Booze Light, 2.3. if you want to go mega wide, WTB Ranger in 2.8... might be a challenge to get hold of them though!

Does anyone want to swap a pretty much brand new 700x35c wire bead pasela for a 30 or 32c

Vittoria Corsa G2.0 Folding Road Tyre 25mm yes or no?
£70ish a pair. They are for the nice bike and I think they’ll just fit. But are there any other choices?

Anyone got some nearly new 28c tubeless.road tyres spare?
Finding some in stock that don't cost the earth is difficult -

I know there’s been a bit of interest in the new GP5KS TR tubeless tyres. So here’s a mini review.
Stock is still non existent of these unicorn tyres, but I spotted some in Germany which I bagged at medium/great expense. My summer bike has worn out a pair of the original GP5K tyres so I can offer a direct comparison.
Fitted the 25mm tyres to a pair of LB AR 45 wheels with 21mm internal width. DREAMY tubeless setup. They were tight but I got them on with thumbs alone, massive contrast to the OG GP5K tyres that required 2 people and much swearing. The tyres blew up first time with a normal track pump. Despite being Tubeless Ready, they held pressure without sealant. Once they were seated in the rims I used a syringe to put 40g of caffelatex sealant in. On 21mm internal rims they blow up to just over 25mm. No problems whatsoever.
Ride quality is MUCH improved from OG. IMO the main issue with the OG 5k tyre was the super stiff casing making them horrible to mount and harsh/stiff feeling to ride. The new ones feel super soft, grippy, plush and very fast to ride. They’re fantastic, let’s hope stock level improves so the price comes down.

Nice early review thanks for that. I think I mentioned elsewhere I am looking to put a pair of 30C on some LB WR45's so can also report back but not until June assuming they are still in stock in Europe at that point. Might get em now to avoid disappointment if I can source an address to send them to.

Another vote for these tyres - my absolute fav also.

i've been running the 30mm version of the gp5k s for a while (on lb wr rims). feels indistinguishable to the newer version of the pro one (which is a good thing imo). also just as easy as schwalbe to mount now. and apparently faster so a win imo.

Is that 25mm internal? Got a pic? :)

Choosing some 25c clinchers; veloflex corsa evo’s or conti gp5000?

I might be using my winter bike more, so I'm looking into getting more of a road tyre on it, something semi-slick, 700c up to 43... using Gravelkings at the mo which are great, but wants less knobbles.
-

I'd go conti - veloflex are good but higher maintenance.

I've been using Schwalbe G-One Speed 38 this winter, were fairly easy to set up tubeless for me (YMMV) and have served me well. Pirelli Cinturato Velo are supposed to be ace as well, they go up to 35.

Hmmm, I'm thinking more 40-43... I've got loads of room so I might as well use it... Teravail look good but a bit spendy

Have put about 2.5k miles into some Teravail ramparts (38c) doing London commuting, bikepacking, gravel, loaded touring, winter training rides. Spendy but very happy with them. If you want a little side tread, the washburn might be worth a try.

Nice... thanks for that... the Washburns look like Challenge Gravelgrinders I've used in the past.
Run normal i would say.
