  • I have that too, but god knows what actual version it is, and the grade is probably g+ at best, which I find weird.

    It just sounds quite shit, but hasn’t been played much or abused.

    I come from the world of 12” 45rpms that can take a lot of abuse, and there are some 33 comps that are second hand and have been thrown about a bit and have loads of ‘surface noise’ or deep rotational clicks/pops.

    It definitely feels like there is a big difference between a VG+ 12” 45 and a VG+ 33 lp. Like, I’d take quite a battered looking 45 that plays well, but a 33 seems like it can be looked at the wrong way and is basically a G.
