I know Phil already posted another photo of this bike, but wtf is going on with that tyre clearance

Remember before Amey first heard about blue SIDs, when everything had to be Tukt?
Yeah that -

Even the finest desert sand is going to struggle through that gap
Might be better once it's worn through the seat tube

Incremental weight loss = incremental gains
That logic is flawless! -

If you’re going to put suspension on a gravel bike, that’s the way to do it though. Looks neat, if you can ignore everything from the head tube back and up.

cable shifters with hydraulic calipers - how's that working?

Can't stop, don't want to either

No idea. Looks cool

Maybe one of those horrific Giant converters.

I despise any gravel suspension, the new xplr forks look unbelievably bad. But if you have to do it, those rs1 forks are the only acceptable option to me.

user amey's next build needs this w/a velocomp powerpod mounted underneath - what a cockpit that would be

Content has become too self-aware. Live self-parody is not a get-out clause. I’m not sure where this leaves us.

Are you feeling ill?

Can't understand the logic behind pointing up levers and bars. So uncomfortable.

It's because of the sloping top tube. No one would do this with a level top tube. Still doesn't make any sense.

I thought that was the path from Strathblane to Dumgoyne.👌
Yip pipetrack from Drymen to Aberfoyle, your reference to Loch Katrine made it clear to me why it's called that now.
I think MV has it, that's the route I'd take or you could WHW to Inversnsaid then round Loch Katrine then QEF.
I was sitting on the top of Dumgoyne one day and saw someone descending off the back of the Campsies towards Killearn. It looked fiercely fast, I've never worked out how he got there...
He's way past listening to anything I have to say lol
