Super nice! Love the colours

I've just put my SRAM bb30 cranks on a BSA frame with a rotor bsa30 bb. Most of the info on the internet seems to say bb30 cranks are too short, but mine came up perfectly.

that's because they are PF30/BB30. BB30 ones would indeed be too short.

Anyone got a CK 1" no threadset going spare? I've a. wanted ad up but though this is prime territory for that sort of thing too

What is all the rage with Chris King headsets? They're so expensive and I'm wondering if a sealed bearings FSA or Cane Creek headset is qualitatively worse. If I'm not mistaken, both FSA and Cane Creek make 1 inch threadless headsets for around 50 quid

My plans:
Potenza group (black), maybe the Chorus 11 chainset if the money allows
35-40 carbons, black tyres
Straight black carbon forks (probably)
Black headset
New black compact bars & tape
Carbon post
New saddleDeleted posted a picture of the same frame, did that get built?
There’s another great Moser Forma build here from ago, #3987

Clout, obvs :D

Um, how can PF30/BB30 cranks, designed to fit in a 68mm shell with internal bearings, fit into a 68mm shell with external bearings? Not happening.
I think BB386EVO or whatever it's called is what you're talking about

IMO there's no shame in mismatched calipers unless you're running Campy, since they're the only mob to ever offer a dual pivot / single pivot pair.
Any half-decent single pivot can lock up the rear, so anything beyond that hurts modulation, and worse, is a waste of metal (the horror).
I've never run a rear DP. My nice bike is rocking full 9000 except for a BR-7400.

Wtf is this i don't even. How many 30mm spindle lengths are there?!
Edit: Surely that's BB386? Looks like room for external cups in the difference.

Not all SRAM “BB30” road cranks have spindles the same length. The cranks with removable spiders are actually BB386 specification and have long enough spindles to fit a BSA30 external cup setup. Only the non-removable spider RED cranks are true BB30 cranks and won't fit a BSA30 setup.

You turned it into something so good looking! Far from the white paintjob it had before

First ride of the year on the daccordi. Not the best photo but better than any I've taken of it before.

Thanks for sharing info on a bb30/bsa set-up.
I've read a bit online but still find myself a bit confused. What requirements do I need from my crankset to make it work?
Could you share advice on installing them correctly?I've got a Sram Force crankset with a spindle around 104mm (I think)

That’s a beaut!
What’s with the wild saddle stabilizer? -

Thanks! That's just my saddle bag. Too much of a pain to take off sometimes. I will do when I get some better photos!

Naw, just making jokes about the position of that woman between saddle and top bar.

If it’s 104mm then it'll fit a BSA frame using a BSA30 bottom bracket - https://wheelsmfg.com/threaded-to-30mm-abec-3-bb-black.html

Such a rad paintjob. Plain stem would be a better match in my opinion.

Yeah, I agree. One day I will get around to sorting it but a few other builds on the go. I would also like to change the post to a nitto too as I'm not a fan of the curve on the current one.
