I'm never too sure how to play against the Sicilian. My "feint on the Queen side then attack like a mother fucker on the King side" approach seemed to work this time...

Admittedly it was only 10 moves long, but still very satisfying.

Sick! In the month I had a subscription both my rating and my productivity tanked. At 3 guesses per day I think harder before I try something and I limit the amount of time I can spend.

Yeah I think when you’ve got it on tap, you lose focus. My annual subscription renewed the other day and it’s a total waste cos I don’t make any use of it. Better to be drip fed.

I have the annual subscription and use it to analyse my 10 min rapid games. Of which I play FAR too many per day.

Being able to analyse all my games is super helpful.

Well sort of. I still can't stop my ELO yo-yoing around 1000.

I know that I need to grind out some opening learning and do more puzzles. But playing games is so much more fun.

Having looked it up, it boils down to:

Use rook to reduce the "box" available to the enemy king.

If the box cannot be reduced, move your king towards your rook.

Force enemy king to corner then support mating rook with your king.

Don't allow a stalemate!

Yeah basically force a corner right? I’d still count on myself getting it wrong though and need to nail it down.
