  • The bike doesn't move around underneath you like out on the road, it is more uncomfortable for longer periods of time. I would say if you're speccing a 100% trainer bike, I'd go for something slightly more padded

  • Yeah this is for an actual stationary bike (as opposed to a proper bike on a turbo or similar) so only going to be used in situ.

    Okay cheers, so don't take the SLR off my track bike to use on it? :-D
    I reckon I'll see how the squidgy monstrosity is and go from there.

  • I've never bothered with a different saddle for my bike on the turbo but I can't do more than an hour before discomfort whereas I can ride for 4 or 5 hours outdoors on the same saddle.
    So the SLR is probably fine for 30 minute sessions, give it a go
