  • That’s a bummer man. Top marks for finding a novel way to go down…;) Hope all mended soon.

I took the pig out and finally did the Pioneertown to Big bear loop. Some highly scenic off roading. One of the poor fellas I was with left it all on the mountain. He fell off about six times before wadding it up properly in a sand wash about half a mile before the end. Top marks to him for finishing the ride.

I had the pig in 5th on my long gearing in the wash, I reckon 80 for sure. Runs like a beast on the 100ll.

  • Hey, half a mile is a short walk to fucking accomplishment really. Big salute to the guy. Just looked up the route and sweet tap dancing jesus, that's some hard enduro shit right there. How are the arms?

@lynx Went straight to emergency dude, sharp fast heavy pain so didn't want to leave it to luck. Booked in to breaks and fractures in a couple days.

  • Not trying to be an arsehole, but please learn from my mistakes. I don't wan't you to suffer my issues. Try and get an MRI or ultrasound to confirm the all clear. Don'r just brush it off, don't be like me. Better to know there is no damage or that you need physio than brush it off under it will just get better. Soft tissues damage can be harder to diagnose than a break of a bone.

Stay safe and hope ibprofen and cool packs help.

EDIT Not trying to teach you to such eggs want someone to learn from my stupidity cos I don't.

  • It’s not really hard - a few rocky bits but nothing super lairy. There are some seriously gnarly trails out that way though, it’s great riding. The fast swoopy sandy parts are a total gas.
