  • Our kitchen plans are accelerating, has anyone used the 8-900mm full surface induction hobs from Miele, gaggenau, Siemens or fisher&paykel and can say if they are worth the money.

Really tempted to get one for the new (forever?) Kitchen but I only got a new 600mm John Lewis one 6 months ago and my wife is frowning at me.

    It's a very stern frown.

  • We're looking for a similar thing - current top of the pile is the T59TF6RN0 but only because we haven't really looked into the Miele ones.

I know @dancing james is a fan of the touch screen Neff, has anyone used the 'twistpad' type?

  • Yes we have a twist pad thing, works as you would expect 99.9% of the time. Only gripe is if you have 5 things going at once, it's annoying if you want to adjust lots of them quickly.

  • The Miele is probably top of my list. I definitely like the idea of Full surface rather than expanded zoning, and touchscreens just seem something else to go wrong. 11kW so more powerful than some
Miele seems the cheapest too so think that's the direction I'm headed.
