Exact actuation it is called. Yeah

I'm not sure about all but definitely most 10 and 11 speed. Just make sure the shifters and the mech are both Exact Actuation.
The shifters dictate the number of gears. You can use a 10s rear mech as an 11s set up if the shifters are 11s. Match cassette to shifters.

X-actuation is not the same as exact actuation if that question comes up.

I have a matching pair of Topstones (1 Neo Small, 1 normal Medium), both Lefty and Carbon and GRX (Model 3s).
Aiming for half price from new- so £2k for the Medium and £2.5k for the Small- they've done minimal miles, battery is fine, are just about to have a service for the Lefty.
The only damage to either is cable rub on the headtube of the Medium, which has been assessed by CBR surrey as not significant at all.

If you don't mind mechanical brakes, can use any Shimano 11 speed road group with a GRX 10 speed mech

in the morning stand up today do the usual sweep of what we did on our weekends

somehow gets onto cycling, manager eyes me in the zoom, im barely out of bed, barely in trousers, they hit me with

"Maj, you're into road bikes arnt you?"

im a little caught off by this, and mumble "uhhh not really, kind of?"

i've got 5 faces looking back at me in the zoom wondering what i mean

"i like uhhh gravel bikes?"

the faces look more confused, eyebrows lifting and furrowing on me to expand more

"it's like uhhh... a atb...all terain bike....bigger than a road bike...no not a mountain bike...no it doesn't have to curly bars....i mean it can but some dont....no not a race bike...yeah some where lycra."

at this point one of my colleagues came back with a picture of their kid and the light was off me

took a minute on mute to compose myself

Why does it look like it’ll have pedal strike in a straight line?

Lots of gravel (of various kinds) to be had getting out of Paris towards the South East on the euro vélo 3. Flat and easy navigation (all along the Seine) but beware the headwinds. I was aiming for Fontainebleau and ended up stopping at Melun.
