I'd do it for like £20 or something if you post it to me.

Wow. Ok, thanks, I might just take you up on that. Have sent a couple of emails this evening, so will wait to hear back, I'll give you a shout at some point though.

I would say that even with original paint you are not going to achieve a nice even finish.
I would suggest just putting a dot of good metal paint (enamel?) over the chip - just enough to fill. Then let it cure, sand a little if not flat, and then put a black sticker/decal around the tube to make a stripe. Or any other decal you fancy putting on.

You'll need some base coat/primer, and a colour coat. Pref enamel type paint (real enamel not water based water stuff) and a small brush. model shops pretty good for it. Add the smallest amount of primer and dry, same for colour, maybe stick a bit of gloss clear over it to seal. Best way as it'll likely just keep blistering as the water can get underneath it

Cool, like humbrol enamel?

For exotic colours use enamel nail varnish. I've often taken a pair of forks into Boots to get a good colour match.

I’ve located some clear coat for touch ups on the car. It’s oil based so should be good. Now to find a sticker.
Thanks all

Stems with a low stack height/steerer tube clamp? I'm talking 25mm ish
Classic issue of second hand fork coming up a bit short.
It's a 1" steerer, was gonna shim to 1 1/8 -

I installed a Force GXP crankset in my frame last night but now I cant seem to remove it.
I can remove the NDS crank arm and then I should be able to just pull the cranks out of the bottom bracket but they wont budge.
The bottom bracket is brand new and I literally installed the cranks last night. I've tried tapping them but they wont budge even the slightest bit.The reason Im trying to remove the cranks is that I installed them with the wavy washer but I don't think thats needed on a BSA threaded GXP BB.
Any suggestions?

You're not tapping hard enough

Not sure how much harder I can tap tbh, still not budging. Cant understand how they can be so stuck in there when I installed them with no tapping whatsoever

Rubber mallet or a block of wood on the end of the axle if you only have a metal hammer and properly smack it.

Star ratchet hub question...
The hub on my Giant SLR 1 wheelset gave up this morning, spinning back and forward. (Had to clip clop home for 4 miles, cleats ruined)
Took it apart and whats happened is the hub shell has stripped and is smooth so the inside cog just spins away inside it.
I am hoping this will be a warranty job but I guess my question is, how does that happen?
Got the bike in August 2020 and is well used in summery months but not had mega miles.

Think it’s a 2 year warranty on giant carbon wheels - have a chat with whoever you bought it from (assuming you bought new and are original owner)

Yeah just got the call, 2 weeks, whole new rear wheel. Happy with that, hope it doesn't happen again though. Luckily I was 4 miles into a ride that would have taken me 50 miles from home. Second hub I've broken in 2 weeks.

Makes sense.
It's steel. That's what I thought, annoying I don't think there's anyone locally doing frame alterations at the moment
