No, I just can be

These kind of bikes have small head tubes (low stacks, really) because of their level top tube, which increases standover if you don't decrease the head tube. It makes the frames look very badly proportioned in my opinion.
-
• #23404
But to me that looks proper.
-
• #23405
Looks like a negative top tube, same as the brother I commented on.
For a frame that's meant to be very bike packing / touring friendly the geo just baffles me

Bikes should fit their owners... Whatever that means and people should stop bike shaming. I am tired of that shit.
A good looking bike is fit for purpose -

Big headtubes are ugly and are only acceptable on frames for big people where all the other tubes are big.
-
• #23409
By big I mean long and by only acceptable I mean I don't really care.
-
• #23410
How long is long though?
-
• #23411
Too long.

• #23412
Ah cool, I'm ok with that, cheers for the clarification.

I know it gets mentioned a lot, maybe I missed it; but WTF is the point of putting cable disc brakes on a posh bike?
Is it like expensive watches that don’t keep accurate time?Is there an FAQ?
-
• #23415
I'm afraid that question cannot be asked again on here until at least 2025
-
• #23416
Because a lot of posh bikes are form over function and all hydro drop levers are ugly?
-
• #23417
This! Do not understand it in the slightest. Is it just to shun "modern" tech?
